We ask for an adoption fee to cover the costs associated with providing top notch veterinary care. In many cases our actual fee doesn't cover the full cost, and every week we have sick dogs who need expensive care to get them ready for adoption. The adoption fee for our dogs is $250.00 for mixed breed dogs and more for purebred dogs. Occasionally dogs may be adopted for a lower fee if they are older or had their vet costs "sponsored." Our fees include full vetting that includes:

• Heartworm tested negative or treated
• Heartworm preventive 
• Drontal for worming
• DA2PPvL+Cv vaccines for distemper, parvo, etc.
• Bordatella vaccine for kennel cough
• Rabies vaccine
• Capstar to kill fleas if needed
• Frontline Plus to prevent fleas and ticks
• Spay/neuter
• HomeAgain microchip

Our adoption fee must be paid at the time of adoption. Our foster-to-adopt program allows approved adopters to foster arriving dogs for up to two weeks to ensure the dog is a good match before the fee is due. We will fully refund the adoption fee if the dog is returned to us in good condition within two weeks of adoption. We reserve the right to retain or prorate the adoption fee for dogs returned later than two weeks after adoption.
